my tastebuds we’re in heaven. The foods I had yesterday were delectable. I think the were all sprinkled with Christmas magic.
I am a lover of candied yams. Yes with marshmallows on top. Browned and melted to perfection!!
That and green bean casserole. Okay, and one of my besties makes
Chocolate chunk cookies.
I ate to excess, my digestion system is angry. I have no regrets. Bhaha
To the treadmill!!!

How about you? Did you overdo it on anything special on Christmas?

Too much food, but I regret nothing hahaha Sausage balls, roast beef pinwheels, deviled eggs, buffalo chicken dip, pulled pork, crack chicken sliders, choc chip cookies, fudge...I ate all day long. Working it off by putting away Christmas :)

I did well this year. Egg/Sausage Casserole (three pieces spread out over whole afternoon), one cinnamon roll with no icing no candy, cookies, etc. I feel so good about not overeating this year.

I overdid it I'm sure, I didn't even count calories or keep track. I did only eat ONE time....well until 8pm, then I had to have some more greens and sweet potatoes. lol

I did pretty good. I made stuffing for turkey for my hubs but only savored one big bite of it. I didn't eat any desserts that weren't low carb. I baked lots of low carb goodies (nut butter brownies, thumbprint cookies, gingerbread cookies, ginger molasses cookies). The only non-LC treats I ate were plantain chips last night (while watching Haunting of Hill House) and organic popcorn in olive oil with dark choc, raisins and nuts mixed in with it that I brought to the movies today (Marwin). I ate more carbs than I would normally and I'm ok with that.

No real treats here either except for the annual Turkey - it’s not a normal protein here but as our family is from Canada it’s a must have even though it’s $$$$

Just embrace this and enjoy these days with family and friends. And food.

I physically can't over eat - I'm always amazed at how my husband gorges for hours. I did have more sweet stuff, and less veg etc. than normal whilst at the in-laws. But now I'm home and back in control of the diet we'll all be eating healthily again. The usual treats are festive ones rather than basic ones.

My mom made peppermint cheesecake with mint Oreo crust & a chocolate ganache on top for Christmas dessert. I had one piece at her house after lunch, and I took one home to have for dinner at my house.
