Hello & Happy October! It's time once again for the random challenge and this month I want you to pull out those journal cards. I'm sure you are like me and have quite the collection of them. And if you are also like me, then you never seem to use them enough! Well, this month is the time to get them on a layout, but not a project life or pocket page type of layout. Instead, I want you to use those journal cards on a non-pocket page layout. Let's see how creative you can be! Here is my traditional style layout with journal cards: And because I was on a (very) rare roll, I made a 2nd layout with a journal card! I hope you can be inspired to create a non pocket page layout using a journal card. Have a great month and happy creating! Remember: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the September Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
Great challenge! Love your examples and like some of you, I don't use my JC's enough, except on pocket pages, so this will be fun.
I just saw (and loved) those two layouts in the gallery, not realizing they were for a challenge! Hooray! This will be fun.
Since I don't do pocket pages usually, this was a great excuse to finally use some of my cards. Thanks for the challenge!
I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've ever used a pocket card! I may just remember to use them for journaling on my layouts (I don't use pockets). So thanks for the challenge.
