Obsessions

oh my gosh, we were late to the season, and we watched like 2 a night, and binged the last 3/4 to get to the winner! The second season is on now, but we are waiting for cold weather and football to subscribe again! highly highly obsessed.
I love this show! Season two is awesome and a little heartbreaking!

I think I would probably like this show...it was not fully on my radar, but I did get the gist of it when I saw the ads. I enjoy Alone and Survivor and other survival type shows, but I was wondering if I could take this premise...watching your loved ones suffer for money? I'll have to give it a go...once I run out of baking

no no no spoilers lol, we won't watch until september! ahhahaha

I'm afraid I've watched some 24 in 24 out of order or something. I need to go back and start over, and check out other seasons? Is there one or more? I don't even know. I love your idea of binge watching it and getting tired with the contestants!
They're just airing season 3 now. I figure it'll be my late July/early August "I'm not going into the Florida heat" binge-watch. Season 2 is much more intense than season 1 because that first season, they weren't sure if anyone could make it the full 24 hours.

It does seem like the people who pick up pickleball get obsessed! How did you find out you wanted to give it a try? Did someone recommend, invite you to play?
Yes, I friend invited me. I was skeptical because I am horrible at sports so I almost turned her down but I am so glad I decided to try it. I absolutely love it.

Hmm. Current obessions:
adult coloring and collecting coloring books and supplies
always bad reality TV, especially things like Love is Blind, Perfect Match, etc

Obsessions? Some reality TV (Season 50 of Survivor, Masterchef, and Masterchef Canada). Also binging season 4? of Bridgerton on Netflix. With my schedule, I don't have time for additional crafts, I have a lot of homework from a work course I am taking.

Lego for me, I bought a small bamboo in a pot lego and then a Harry Potter train platform. Then my kids bought me the much bigger Harry Potter Diagon Alley set which took hours to do. I currently have a large bouquet of tulips waiting to be started.

That's impressive. I was a massive journaler for most of my life, but a few years ago it tapered off. Not sure why...less need to vent (which is what my journaling mostly was).

That makes sense. I journal more for documenting my life. At least nowadays. I did a lot more venting and pondering in my teen years, filling up fat spiral notebooks in three months!

At the conference I went to last week, the keynote speaker, a student of Brene Brown, talked about how coloring does the same thing for the brain that meditation or prayer does! So, the organizers gave us all little coloring books (mandalas) and colored pencils!

I have enjoyed Season 50 of Survivor so much! I haven't watched every season, but enough to know the main cast members who were invited back. So many cool fan-driven twists!

If I had space for that, I'd do that once in a while! I think it would be more fun than jigsaw puzzles, which my roommates like to do.

So many spiral notebooks. I sent them all for destruction within the last year, though. No one needs to read any of that, I decided! I know that probably sounds blasphemous to another writer, but it was just time.

My current obsession is napping or thinking about napping lol
This time of year does a number on me and I'm exhausted!!

I have a coloring app on my tablet that I color at least one photo a day. I tried actual coloring with colored pencils about 10 years ago and my hands were too shaky for that. The app gives me the ability to still color. I use one called Happy Color (can be used on both Android and Apple products).

Did they address whether digital coloring is as effective as on paper with actual crayons/markers? I enjoy at least 10 minutes of coloring every day on my phone with an app called Zen color. On days with more free time I can color 1 or even 2 hours. Some of that is while listening to a podcast though, so that may not be as meditative. :)

They did not differentiate between digital coloring and physical implements, but I imagine they are physically similar since you're moving a mouse or stylus to color digitally.

I love that! I had an app a long time ago for coloring. Maybe I'll take it up again!

I'm doing this on my phone and just tapping cells to fill them with color, so it's definitely not exercising my hand muscles much. :giggle It is restful and I enjoy it anyway.
