New Site Bug Report

might a post list current bugs, so we know what the forum/or store is doing, we can understand it
 
This is just a tiny thing. But none of the newsletter links actually go to the store? They all throw up 404 errors.
 
I only get this far- and don't see a form to fill out....

I hit upload, chose an image and the only thing i can do is close- I don't get a red button. I guess the good news is I can comment and post anything other than images. I can post layouts if uploaded to photobucket first....

The red button was the Upload Image button... you pushed that. When you chose your file it does say "close" but if you ignore it and wait a few seconds the description box should show up underneath. perhaps things are just running really slow for you?
 
@thimbleberrie Sorry for the trouble you're having with uploading an image. Do you happen to have a pop-up blocker on your browser? That may be one possibility. Either way, could you please try another browser and let me know if that works for you. Thanks!
 
My original post has been updated with fixes, the current known bug list and a list of things that are simply changes from the old site. I hope this helps everyone! :)
 
Will the Gallery show the uploader/poster's name with it? I miss that from the old site, knowing who posted it just by reading the thumbnails.

Also, in the forums, we used to be able to see the subforum each new thread was posted to in a column. Will that come back? (***ETA...I just realized that this is now under the thread name! So never mind!***)

The new site is very pretty and loads quickly for me. I do like it very much....just used to seeing certain info easily for click through. ;)

Oh, and is there any way on the gray header bar to swap the New Posts and Mark Forums Read? The New Posts has always been on the far left of the header bar, and I naturally want to click there.....but surely at some point I am going to hit Mark Forums Read from muscle memory and then I won't have any new posts! ;)
 
It is probably not a bug, b it why does all thumbnails and some LO s show as a square even if the original is a rectangle ? You can see it clearly in some peoples lo in the Aj 12days of Christmas tracking thread. Including mine,all my original pages are the same size.

@mollyc The Mark Forums Read now has a pop-up box that lets you choose whether you want to mark the current forum or all forums and asks for confirmation, so accidentally clearing your unread posts is pretty unlikely. :)

I see it in a grey stripe at the bottom of each thumbnail. Do you have the grey stripe?

If you do accidentally hit it, a thingy pops up asking if you want to mark just the current forum or all forums, and you can hit cancel. It is weird getting used to the new positions, but I hope that helps you relax a bit knowing it isn't so tragic :)

This is a known issue and one that will hopefully be resolved with the next developer upgrade. The good news is the part we can see if bigger :)
 
Thanks for keeping your first post updated Laura. I didn't want to search through 7 pages to see if this had been answered. How do we find out how long we have left on subscriptions? I looked through my profile and didn't see anything. Thanks.

Thanks, guys!

The gallery on my computer does not show the gray stripe over the thumbnails, but does when I hover over each LO so I guess that works! The gray stripe does show up automatically over all the thumbnails on my iPad though.
 
I just joined today and have only posted a couple of times. After getting the first email for the alert on a post, I tried to stop those emails by going to alert preferences but saw no where to stop just the emails. I even went into regular preferences and took off every reference to receiving an email that I could. I'm still getting the emails for every little thing. So I have now unchecked every thing on the alert preferences page. Will this stop the emails? Will I still get the little alerts in red on the header though? I don't mind the alerts notice in the header, I just cannot have them come to my email. I can't have that happening when I'm at work as my phone goes off for every email I get!
