Happy birthday, Nicole! This was a fun challenge. I chose option #10: 1-2-3-4-5-6. 1. Four Frames: I hope the doodle frame on the photo counts. The three others are behind the photo. 2. Journal card or word art: "Happy" strip 3. Artsy bit as a mask: I used a piece of washi tape as a mask for the original color version of the photo, to bring back color to the words on the wall behind us. 4. Add a magic light: I actually used the same one twice. 5. Different size for layout: I usually do 12x12 6. Pattern paper clipped to an element: birthday paper clipped to a gesso corner to the right of the photo.
Happy Birthday Nicole - this was super fun and got me out of my funk (its been a bad week getting really tired of being sheltered at home) I chose number 5 5 - letter size layout (normally do 12X12) 5 - my choice a line drawing of dandelions lower left 4 - magic light upper middle stars 4 - magic light lower left behind photos 3 - artsy bit use as mask - used a leaf stem lower left 1 - 4 frames different looks used same photo and did different looks
Happy birthday Nicole! So cool to do a birthday challenge and I LOVE the freebie kit. I didn't join the chat, so I asked Hubby to choose a number - he chose 2 = 5-5-6-5-6-5. 5 = Use a different size layout. I normally work at 12x12, so I went with 10x10 the same size as my physical journal and I also used a pocket page template, which I have never ever done - eek! 6 = Use patterned paper, but clip it to an element. I used the circles and chevrons from the free birthday kit and clipped a paper from the kit to them. The rest of the 5's are my star, star scatter and celebrate balloon.
Obviously you want us to use a different size paper, since all recipes have that requirement... arghhh
What a crazy challenge this turned out to be but i was able to showcase my daughter's many expressions. Thank you! For Nicole's birthday challenge. I randomly rolled 6-6-1-1-6-1 so I had to scrap with: 12 frames 3 papers clipped to an element. My three elements clipped with paper are: the arrow, flower, and confetti bits
Happy birthday, Nicole! I choose #10: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6. 1 - 4 frames (wooden frame, doodled frame, ripped paper frame, photofilm frame) 2 - journal card or word art (card) 3 - artsy bit as a mask (nbk-AC-No28-PP-artsy-4 paper clipped to the nbk-undone-EL-ABP-ArtsyBit22) 4 - magic light (one magic light is on the bigger photo, other one is at the butterfly's lower left side) 5 - different layout size (letter size) 6 - pattern paper clipped on an element (butterfly)
Happy birthday Nicole! ! I "rolled" #3 - 5 - 4 - 4 - 5 - 1 - 3. 1=pick 4 frames with different looks 3=use an artsy bit as a mask 4= add a magic light X2 5= Rectangle instead of square and I added wordart and extra Artsy Bits.
