Hi There! Nicole here with NBK Design.

On June 18th it's my 46th birthday! For that I have prepared a Store Wide Sale from June 12-19 - with a 40% saving (some exclusions) a Grab bag a Free with Purchase kit (if your purchase is more than 10$ you get this Kit for free) ... and this challenge. You can win a 10$ Gift certificate in a random draw.

If you did not join us on our chat on June 11, you can "Roll the dice"now. Choose a number between 1-10. Scroll down in this thread to the rules and the number you have chosen is your "recipe" for your layout:

For example you choose the spot 3 (3 - 1 - 2 - 5 - 1 - 1) you need to have on your layout
3 - choose artsy bit
1 - pick 4 frames with different looks
2 - use a journal card or word art
5 - use a different size of your layout you usually prefer
1 - pick 4 frames with different looks
1 - pick 4 frames with different looks

...yes that really means to use 12 frames on your layout...

Happy Birthday Nicole - and thanks for the FUN layout!
For my layout I chose Row 4: 3 - 6 - 6 - 4 - 3 - 5
3 = Artsy Bit as a mask (x2)
6 = Patterned paper clipped to an element (x2)
4 = Add a magic light
5 = Different sized layout - I used letter size

And here it is, using the Bittersweet Collection.

Here is mine. I hope I understood what needed to be done. Thanks for the fun chat & I hope you have much joy on your birthday. This was an interesting challenge.

My numbers from the chat: 6 - 4 - 4 - 2 - 4 - 2
6= Clip patterned paper to an element (3 heart cluster at upper left, cluster from Happy Life, patterned paper from Tropical Fusion)
4x3 = Magic lights (one at upper left, two behind woman), all from Happy Life.
2x2 = Use a journal card or word art (I used word art, one from Happy Life, one from Love Light)with style applied from Happy Life.

Happy birthday, Nicole and thanks for the sale. I attended the chat and my dice roll numbers were: 3-3-5-5-6-4. I'll be back with a layout.

3 - use arty bit as mask (photo on AC23 - ABP)

5 - get out of your comfort zone and use a different size of layout (8 x 10)
5 - if you have this number more than one time, add to your page whatever you want (journal card - art & nature 2)
6 - use a pattern paper but clip it on an element (paper - All messed up - darks and element - AC10 - ABP - "Love")
4 - add a magic light (Precious magic light)

Also used 2 background papers from All Messed Up - lights and darks

5-Different size of layout: I chose letter size (and boy was that a challenge, I usually only do 12x12 or bigger
4-Add a magic light: Top left corner
4-Add a magic light: Middle behind the kids
5-Different size of layout: substituted this one for Word Art
1-Pick 4 frames with different looks: eroded frame around border, doodle frame & heart scalloped frame around kids, used the yellow stitched circle from ABP to frame around my daughter
3-Artsy bit as a mask: bottom right corner Poppin Blossom ABP as mask with On the Sunny Side Solid Paper

I rolled the dice during the chat and got the unexpected combination of: 2-2-2-2-4-2. 5 journal cards and a magic light.
When I went to look up the products I'd used in the store, it looks like they've mostly been retired, so if this doesn't qualify for the draw, that's fine, I had fun anyway. Thanks for the chat & the challenge. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
