Sorry for the book, but I have thought this one through in my head. Day 1 was a favorite because of the emotional content. I miss my Grampa and seeing him with little me just hits me in the feels.
Day 2 took me all day to do and I didn't even sit down to scrap until 9pm that night. I agonized over it, and LOVED the photo that came from it.
Day 3 was the Dangles. I had such high hopes for the picture I had in my head, and I tried to replicate it, but it just didn't work like I saw it. The idea worked fine as it being a modified family tree/heritage layout, but it didn't LOOK like I wanted it to look.
Day 4 was the blended background. I typically don't do these, and I have a very difficult time with blending papers and have them look nice. I couldn't think of anything to use for a picture and I tripped over St. Nick going up the stairs, so I figured I would just take a picture of him and blend him into a background paper. Came out okay, but not a love.
Day 5 again, is emotional. My uncle Wally died of prostate cancer many years ago, and my Aunt Franny is remarried. I found a pack of negatives and these pictures were in them. I scanned them and sent them to my cousin. She wrote me back and said that her Mom was JUST lamenting that she wished she had photos of her wedding because they're just not around anywhere, and then these show up. God - incidence!!
Day 6 I LOVED the idea and made two pages. I like them both for different reasons.
Day 7 has emotional impact as my MIL died from Covid last year and it was bittersweet to see them all shiny and newly married!
After going through them all, I choose Day 2 - because every single time I look at it, I giggle and it makes ME smile. I love the colors and the placement of the elements and Melissa's cute little face peeking over the photo!!
