MOC 2023!!!

If anything I hope any changes make it easier for those putting it on - I can't imagine the amount of work involved in figuring it out and tallying it all up!

well yes, that goes without saying. :)

@michelepixels you trust me, right?

don't be worried, all changes are for good..... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trina.... it is a lot of work, but the pleasure I have had when scrappers tell me how a challenge we host was great for them, o0r how some people still remember a challenge we posted years ago because it change them or added to their scrapping.....that is Priceless and worth all the work!!!!!!
@tjscraps

I think I've completed around 7 MOCs. Last year I failed to finish though. I'm off to register and, fingers crossed, I'll do them all this time! Very excited!
:fairydance

I've registered. Have no idea what I've gotten myself into. But I won't know if I don't try it, right? LOL

Right! I would bet you won't regret it. I became a regularly participating TLP member in January 2016 because of that MOC. :love And I've completing every one of them since. Even now, as my scrapbooking has decreased in the last few years, I still want to scrap daily in January with the creative, inspiring, fun challenges of MOC.

Oh yeah! One more thing. Soon after MOC, for the last few years, TLP has had Love Our Designers, another daily scrapping event, though much less of a challenge. We just honor a different designer each day until we've gone through the entire list. Some of us get on a roll scrapping daily from MOC that we want to keep going so we do, through Love Our Designers. :heartlub

I'm a little nervous that it sounds like something might be changing about MOC. I thought it already involved art, story, and community. I anxiously await more details! :thinking2

We do have some significant changes planned, but we think they're all good, and hopefully the event will take everyone back to their scrapping roots, and why we embraced this hobby to begin with.

This has been a tough year for me scrapping-wise. I almost always get the monthly challenges done and this year had a month that I skipped entirely. I've missed most of the big scrapping special events here after Love Our Designers back in February. I'm determined to get back in the swing of things with MOC and I'm excited to see how the "Coming Home" focus plays out in the challenges.

I am SURE you guys will LOVE the changes. Like Julie said in her next answer,. change can be hard, but in this one, I KNOW you all will LOVE it !!!!!!! lets rock Christmas/ Hanukah/Kwanza and all holidays then we will ROCK MOC 11!!!!!

Apparently I had never signed up for the newsletter :hummm... have no idea how I was able to do MOC last year, I just stumbled on it somehow and it was my first MOC, and I really wanted to participate again this year. I haven't gotten the newsletter yet and I will be looking to figure out how to sign up.

Never fear! You can register here: MOC: A brief glimpse

I think you're going to love it! It's so much fun, and there's so much creativity and inspiration, and a real sense of community. Btw, I was an MOC lurker for a couple of years: too shy to join in, even though I wanted to. And then in 2020, I finally decided to register and give it a try...and now I can't wait for MOC, it really is a special and unique scrapping event.
