Hi everyone, Ona here, hope you are having a fun iNSD 2024. I have a super fun challenge for you, which centers around mashing up various things to create your layout! There are two parts to this challenge so let’s get started! Part One: I have selected nine (9) inspirational Pollywog layouts for you to look at, from which you will need to choose three (3) different layouts that will influence you to create your own page. Layouts are linked if you want to take a closer look and/or leave some love on their pages. LO1: Now it's spring by Sheri (SeattleSheri) | LO2: Go For It by Angela Toucan | LO3: Valentine's Day by Heather (HeatherB.) | LO4: Our Family 2024 by Tronesia | LO5: This Doesn't Come Easy by Kayla (keepscrappin) | LO6: Toujours dans mon coeur by Marijke | LO7: April Fruit Roll Up by Kim (garrynkim) | LO8: Noted by Susanne (sucali) | LO9: Boulders Beach by Stefanie (StefanieS) For instance, you may like the bright bold colors that Kim has used on her layout (#7), the use of a large photo on Heather’s layout (#3) and the photo effect treatment that Marijke used in her layout (#6). You would then use these three things; (1) bright & bold colors; (2) large photo; (6) photo effect treatment to create your own page based on those 3 factors. Another example could be; Minimalist style (#8) + two photos (#1) + nature themed (#5). Get the picture? Use whatever inspires you in any of the three (3) layouts you select to be the base for your own layout. Part Two: Once you have decided what will influence your layout from part one, you now need to use any products from three (3) designers to create your layout. They need to be three separate designers, no collabs, but you can use as many different products from each designer as you like. Which layouts did you pick? and which designers did you use? While you will list all the products you used in your credits in the gallery when you upload your layout, please tell me, here in the thread, which Polly layouts you used and how they inspired you, and which three designers you chose as well (as per my example below) when you post your linked layout here. Here is my page: I used the following layouts as my inspiration: LO 1 by Sheri - clusters LO 2 by Angela - photoless LO 5 by Kayla - nature themed I used products from: Lynne-Marie, Paula Kesselring and Rachel Jefferies. Specific Product credits are in the Gallery. Part 1: #6 large photo #8 hortizontal photos/elements #3 diamonds Part 2 Sara Gleason - Charmed Lynn Grieveson - Going to be Good Kim Jensen - By the Numbers Alpha Here is my page:
Well, that was a LOT harder than I thought it was going to be.... Hope I did it right #5 Materials in bottom right corner #1 flower cluster #2 Background scatters LynneMarie Paul Kesselring Rachel Jeffreies
I was inspired by Layouts #2, #6, and #8 From layout 2, I was inspired by the angled card (replaced by photo) and the cluster around it; Layout 6 was my main inspiration with that large photo, the worn edges and torn patterned paper, the text along the bottom, the upper right hand corner and the label along the edge with that particular phrase; from layout 8, I simply used a paper heart and the word "noted." For Part 2, I was heavy on Lynn Grieveson and I did use some collabs, but I also used items from Sahin Designs, Joyce Paul, Forever Joy and Anita Designs. It's never a challenge for me to use multiple kits, LOL...it's sticking to one that's hard for me! Thanks for the fun challenge!
I used #2 for the daisies, #5 for the wildflower bunches and #8 for the B&W photo. The frame is Paislee, flowers are NBK and rest is AWA.
Picked #1 - Clusters, #3 - Diamonds (and large photo), #8 B&W photo Designers - Anita Designs, Sara Gleason, Alison Pennington
Thanks for hosting Ona! I was inspired by 2 (collage background), 3 (vertical diamonds) & 8 (1 b&w photo) Designers used: 1 Scrapping with Liz 2 Becca Bonneville 3 Designed by Soco 4 A Whimsical Adventure
This was F-U-N! I love a challenge that forces me to think a bit. I picked the following: Inspired by #4 - big title #8 - mostly white #5 - lots of flowers and greenery Designers used: Fiddle-Dee-Dee, NBK & Rachel Jefferies
I used kits by Anita Designs, Sara Gleason & Sabrina Dupre I was inspired to use a large photo of homes from #6, the cluster from #2, and the paper strips from #5
This was such a cool idea! I liked the photos on the diagonal from layout 4, the big leaves / foliage from layout 5, and the nature theme from layout 9.
Great challenge, thank you! I "mashed up" LOs 2, 3, 8. My 3 designers are Anita Designs, Paula Kesselring, and Rachel Jefferies (helps that 2 of the designers created the collab I used). Also, a 4th designer thrown in there for fun, as I used some freebies from Sara Gleason. LO 2: cluster (bottom right of my LO) LO 3: large photo, diamonds LO 8: "ladder" design with cut-outs (upper right of my LO)
thank you for the challenge. Part 1: Penguin Photos in LO 9: Boulders Beach by Stefanie (StefanieS) inspired me to create a zoo birds page. Use of paper shapes to frame a big photo in LO 3: Valentine's Day by Heather (HeatherB.) Blue Background Paper in LO6: Toujours dans mon coeur by Marijke Part 2: Template by Scrapping with Liz, and kits by Gina Millar and Kristin Aagard
