Love Our Designers - February 19 Today's Designer Crush is Joyce Paul Designs Facebook | Instagram | TLP Store Let's get started by getting to know Joyce Paul a little better. Tell us a little bit about your self? I am Joyce, 40 years old and I live in The Netherlands with my 3 kids. When did you start scrapbooking? And did you start with paper or digital? I started paper scrapping in 2004 and digital 2006 if I remember correctly. What inspired you to start designing? I wasn't planning on becoming a designer. I was quite happy just creating layouts, but then a digi scrapbooking shop held a design competition and I decided to join just for fun. I won and I got offered a spot to sell my designs at their store. And the rest is history. Lol Do you listen to music, television or prefer silence when you are creating? I hate silence. (Except for when I go to sleep of course) I always have the tv on in the background or music. What are your inspirations while designing? My kids are my biggest inspiration. What is your favorite snack while crafting? I love sticky peanut bars. Once I start on those things, I cannot stop. Do you have a favorite product you've created? Yes, it must be "Sunshiny Day". I just love the colors so very much! Joyce Paul's store at TLP is filled with yummy goodness that is perfect for your next page. Here are just a few examples. Here are just a few of the pages I've created with Joyce Paul's fabulous goodies. Before you go, I want to share some good news with you. For today only, Joyce Paul Designs is having a 50% off sale. I have only one kit from Joyce Paul, and it seems I never used it. Until now! Really weird, cuz it sure is great designs. I need to get some more from her, for sure! Here's the layout I made for today:
I had April Fresh but didn't realize I still needed some of the print papers and journal cards. Thanks for the sale!
Thanks for the generous sale! I picked up two lovely bundles including the one I used in this page below.
I made this layout for this month's journaling challenge and thought I would also share it here. I already owned Holly Jolly but I expanded (& filled out) my collection of Joyce Paul Designs today.
I played along too, and made a blog post with one of her kits Outdoors and got to use both it and the coordinating Messy paper pack to create both a minimalist and maximalist artsy kinda page - process and some template tips from the Pollys on the blog today https://the-lilypad.com/minimal-maximal-monday-same-photos-2-different-layouts-with-template-tips/
Daughter's car was having issues, but the part was on backorder. By the time it finally came in, the air conditioner compressor had died. Dave replaced the compressor himself at the diy shop on base, but he had chosen to have someone else do the original repair. When he got it up on the lift, he found the source of the noise it had been making since getting it back from that garage - they left off two nuts - and had fun with Goblin Tools (AI) to write a review. Goblin Tools is fun - you can set the level of professionalism vs sassiness.
