Love Our Designers | March 6th

:heartlub Heather Joyce is our daily crush! :heartlub

This event isn't a traditional CHALLENGE in that there aren't any real rules. It's just...Scrap with the featured designer! It’s a fun event to just scrap with products from a fave designer or try a new (to you) designer. It’s all about having fun and celebrating the uniqueness of all of our Lilypad Designers! :)

Today we are going to play with Heather Joyce's designs. If you’re not familiar with her, go have a look at her amazing store here. Heather is the Font Queen. I use her fonts ALL the time in my layouts (and particularly my journaling) because they are so diverse and unique.
She has a wide array of typewriter fonts with realistic flaws and various weights:

She also captured a variety of handwriting in fonts which are perfect for realistic-looking journaling, like these:

And I have always been drawn to these particular fonts that are so incredibly neat, uniform and easy to read but still maintain a bit of handwritten authenticity:

Her fonts are just $1.99 a piece or you can save more with a bundle. For instance, for $35, you can buy all 237 of her fonts (a savings of 30%)! Check it out:

And as if that's not enough, she has created many clever alphas that work well for titles:

And her templates are completely divine. They are quaint, quirky and accommodate a lot of different scrapping styles. Here are a few of my favorites:

I met Heather years ago here at the Pad when I submitted my handwriting for a contest she was hosting. She actually made a font of my handwriting which--as a kindergarten teacher--I still use today:

I was able to have some fun with her designs on this layout. I used The Basics Paper Lovin template, the amazing typed "The Dorothy" font from the "Golden Friends" collection and the Sugar Cookies alpha:

And here are just a few of the layouts I've created over the years with her terrific products:

Now it's your turn to make a page with some of Heather's designs. Explore her store and see what irresistible goodies you find. Or check through your own Heather Joyce stash.
Please make sure you meet the gallery guidelines of 50% TLP product.
Post in Heather Joyce's gallery and share your page in this thread.

Be sure to check out our LOVE Our Designers event daily since you never know WHO is going to be featured when! And who knows, the designer(s) may pop in here and there with special surprises and interactions while we are scrapping!!!

I tried to use as much as I could of Heather Joyce products for my page. the only items not hers were two papers I used. I had fun leaving the template original with just the photo size changed.

I do love her templates! I will have to add some items to my wish list and come back to them when I get my Feb challenge coupon. :-)
