21. Botanicals


These are the botanicals I felt sure were real and unaltered. I added a lot of botanicals and a few extra in case I couldn't spot fakes. It was really hard to tell!

23. Paint Dipped

Paint dipped items are the green leaf and the brown twig and also the pinecone. I also painted the edges of the frames.

Journaling is 231 words and selfie was taken today 1/30/2020

27. Paintstroke Picture

I used:
Paper Canvas

I did mask off the image using the paintstroke, then added it again with brushed edges and set both layers to an overlay (linear burn) then used the brushes to fade some color so the text would so and give some added dimension. I used a splatter brush included with Photoshop to make the "candle wax" splatters.

28. Darkle

All elements have some type of sparkle or shimmer except the journaling and the word strip. All elements are touching the photo except the scatters which fall off the cluster (pink stars and blue sequins) and the journaling of course.

30. Cut File Template

I used the cut file in the top right corner of the photo. I applied a fun style to it. I do plan to try use the method in the tutorial sometime but for this cut file, I liked it better very simple and small on this layout.

I have more than 5 lines of journaling and included the words "last time" in my title.
