It's true! I layered the photo on top of the paper, added a gradient layer between them, and clipped the photo to the gradient. I usually have to adjust the gradient after the clipping to make it look good.

There is so much to love about this, the pull through of the nature with the fern type silhouette in bottom left, the majestic height of the trees, the pairing of other photos, the colour pops, the balance of the bold yellow florals and the general artsy . . it's just perfection.

This really deserves a special mention!!
I adore the hybrid design and mixed lace and love the fringe on the other side, and the addition of the stitched edge looks lovely. Gorgeous mix of collage here and I love seeing the other trinkets alongside the journal. Big love!
