January 9: White on White Page

I found a layered template, used lots of white styles on the layers and lightened the shadows up a bit to get this page.

Hope this looks white enough. I've desaturated everything and added levels to everything. If it doesn't count it doesn't count.

I'm not sure if this meets the requirements. I did my best to whiten everything with b&w, curves, & contrast adjustment layers, inverting things, using blend modes etc, but it still looks a bit greyish. Having said that, I'm willing to work on it some more if it needs it. GREAT challenge, thanks Em :)

This was a great challenge. I had fun recoloring and used several different techniques to do so. Thanks for the creative challenge.

I actually had a fun with this one... Turned several things white by desaturating.... Was too overwhelmed to get to it yesterday, but was looking forward to it today!!!!

I love this idea. Very new to me. I am not a big element kinda scrapper and I'm not sure I pulled off the elegant look you were after. I love how the photos stand out with the simplicity of color on this page. I will try this some idea some more as I feel photos often get lost on pages. This style really helps the photo stand out.

Thank you for the challenge!

Emma, my lovely, you maybe sleeping right now, but just wanted to say I had such a great time making this, wonderful challenge!!!! Now, more for everyone else than yourself:
PLEASE NOTE (about rules complying)
I made the page with the swatch of color inside my working area, so I could check, but I know as a matter of fact that computer (an old iMac I don't upgrade systems or my program wouldn't work) shows colors darker, and also my program when converting things into white, in a LOT of cases completely takes away the texture, it renders them into a flat shape , pure white....so I tried using mostly things that were the tones of white from the swatch. If there is anything that doesn't comply, let me know, Emma, and I make a note for all to know, but as I don't compete for the prizes, and don't think I would be able to distinguish from the different nuances, I can try make another page but time is of an essence (as I am hosting a challenge too !) Enjoyed making this page so much!!! My mum, in the photo, November 02, 1957, I arrived the year after!!!
Everything is from Pink Reptile Designs, apart from that rays of paint part on top of the photo, which are from Valorie Wibbens Sprinkles V.45. The Background Papers and Elements & Word Art, the whole list linked to the store individually is in my gallery. If you find that you like a specific element let me know and I can tell you which kit comes from!! :)
