I'm going back to the color wheel for this question I would say if you can keep your colors within two slices of each other that would be ideal. The teal looks like the slice at 9 o'clock and the blue looks like 6:30. I hope that helps!
this was not easy (not hard, but not easy). It definitely went a different direction than what I had in mind after reading the challenge last night. But it's done. Lot's of recoloring of paint doodles with different intensities to try to get a bit of variation. THIS is more what I had in mind last night:
I changed my font color to the same hue, and edited my original page, however I can't get the layout here to update.
What you are seeing is probably just the cached image your browser is loading from before. What I see here is the same as in your gallery. Sometimes doing a forced refresh using Ctrl+F5 will help your browser clear out the old and load in the updated image.
I did an all blue layout. I can't get the right one uploaded, so I added the link back to the gallery. MOC9 Day 8 One Color (Blue) | The Lilypad (the-lilypad.com)
I just want to say I'm really loving these layouts! I haven't had a chance to start commenting because I'm still working today, but I'm just so pleased with all of the beautiful pages!
My page was inspired by my dental hygienist this morning as we were talking about not going many places since the pandemic.
Thanks for the challenge and recoloring tips! They came in helpful when I needed to recolor the ribbon Here is my page:
I used a lot of hue/sat layers, as well as blended solid cyan papers into a lot of papers/ellies to get all monochromatic! It was fun! Thanks for the challenge!
It's a good thing I learned how to recolor this year! Thanks for the fun challenge. I definitely want to use this again sometime.
