Thank you so much! I will add your tutorial to the clarifications post!I've done a quick tutorial for Affinity users:

The background must completely match your color scheme with no white or black. I can't wait to see what you come up with!!@SeattleSheri Can the background be like a stripe that is white and the chosen color? Or do we need to change the white to a value of the color?
I'm in all-day meetings, but I will try to pop in with some suggestions later!Okay, I have a question on technique....I have some black stitches I would like to turn green. "hue changing" doesn't work, the paint bucket doesn't work. I know it it probably simple, but I don't know it! Can anyone suggest a tutorial? I am using PSE. Thanks in advance!
Sorry about the day of meetings! Thank you for the offer but Anne's suggestion worked well! I love that you took the time to answer my question!!!I'm in all-day meetings, but I will try to pop in with some suggestions later!
Another great suggestion, especially on white stitches! Thank you for responding!I usually clip a paper to the stitch and change the blending mode.

I will allow a torn edge on a paperQuestion - If I use torn paper, there will be white on the torn part. Is that fine?
Thanks for asking!
