Okay, I have a question on technique....I have some black stitches I would like to turn green. "hue changing" doesn't work, the paint bucket doesn't work. I know it it probably simple, but I don't know it! Can anyone suggest a tutorial? I am using PSE. Thanks in advance!
@SeattleSheri Can the background be like a stripe that is white and the chosen color? Or do we need to change the white to a value of the color?
1-8-21 ONE COLOR/HUE I chose the blue color/hue. I used pieces out of Lynn Grieveson Nesting & SharpEyed Template by PRD - Listed (modified)
you can also lightened it first, then try hue change - to get a little bit of a green by going to adjustments and color level, move the lever to green, it will give a green cast, it can be done a few times!
Question for those of use Hue-ally challenge - Is aqua and blue in the same hue? I know that aqua is halfway between blue and green, but don't know if that counts (thinking specifically of using pictures at Flo's with DJ the car - he is blue, her signage is more aqua/teal. Can I use some elements that match his color of blue and some that match the cafe's color of blue?
I used Paula's beautiful blue papers and snowflakes and then used a hue adjustment to bring everything to the desired hue.
