January 8: Florals, Foliage and Frames Welcome to Day 8 of MOC 2022! I'm excited to host this fun challenge today! For this challenge, you will create a multi-layered cluster as the focal point on your layout using florals, foliage and 1 or more frames grouped together, which must be in the focal point area but do not need to all be connected. At least one or more photos need to be included in the focal point cluster. ***A clipping mask may be used for a photo along with or in place of a frame*** You can create your own frame or use frames from your digi-stash. Any frame is acceptable. Check the TLP store HERE for a huge assortment of frames. Check the TLP store HERE for a huge assortment of flowers. CHALLENGE INSTRUCTIONS: Start your focal point cluster anywhere on your page i.e. along an edge, in the middle or off in a corner. Place at least 10 (duplicates are accepted) flowers, at least 2 foliage around your frame(s), tucking them under and over the frame(s), as desired and use 1 or more frames, adding at least 1 photo. This will be the focal point cluster. The cluster does not require all elements to be touching, overlapping, etc but they need to be in a grouping in the focal point area of your choosing. Nothing else is to go on your page outside of your focal point cluster with the exception of paint, masks or overlays, if you choose to use them. Journaling is optional and the title can be placed anywhere on your page. A page from me, using 15 flowers, 3 foliage and some stamps, overlays and glitter. Thanks Rae for hosting! (the stars and threads and lines are all from the blended background papers) I used 11 flowers, 3 foliage 1 frame and a few extra elements on my framed photo. Title and journaling added.
The clusters each have one duplicated painted flower to make a total of 5 in each. The foliage (leaves) are different on each cluster.
I got stuck on this with my "photos to scrap list", so just went and found one of me. Thank you for the challenge.
First reaction was "ack, so many flowers!" But I love my page! Thanks for the challenge. Loving all the pages so far! ((11 flowers, 2 leaves (red and black) and 2 frames))
