January 8 - Build Your Own Tree

This was fun to make on a snowy day:

 

Took it literally -- and built a tree

 

I started by looking through kits and pulling out any elements that I thought might work. And of course I had to use ALL of them. Just don't know when to stop!

My branches and trunk both are made with 1 inch paper squares.

 

I had no idea where this one was going but I liked just staying in the flow.

I love that this is not the Month of Your Comfort Zone, LOL! Makes the hard make sense.
Here's my Day 8! The trunk is a couple of arrow stickers, the leaves are the flowers and acrylic and the branches are represented by the paint. Thanks for the great challenge!

 

Mine. I used a piece of a woodgrain paper and warped & distorted the heck out of it to get me my tree trunk.
