January 6: Shape cut out of element

Oh @A-M Please link to WordCloud if you have that... I haven't used it in so long and would love to try it again. I suspect some others have never done it either!

My text was originally shaped as a circle, then cut out an arrow in the middle (Just like in PRD's element used in/on the title "o"). Please, let me know if it's ok like this.

HERE is the site I was using but I decided it was not right for what I wanted so I have now created my own wordart to use.

I don’t know that word cloud actually fits the challenge. The shape is being cut out of your journaling whereas word cloud makes your journaling into a shape. Basically there should be a void in your journaling that looks like a shape and shows the background layer where the text appears upon is how I interpret it. Word cloud is cool though so I will bookmark it for future use.

What I think I will do is print out some text like maybe a name repeatedly on one layer. On a second layer I will use the shape tool and make a shape. Then on a third layer I will clip the same background paper to my custom shape. I think this would work too. That should create a void in the text.

One other way you could do this is:

1. Bottom layer is your paper
2. Journaling on top of your paper
3. Shape on top of your journaling
4. Duplicate your paper layer and put it on top of your shape
5. Clip your duplicated paper layer to your shape

Yes, this process will work :)

Perfect opportunity to document my son's obsession with the Les Mis soundtrack!
