January 6: Shape cut out of element

Can't believe how many gorgeous pages are in here! Thank you all for playing!

I did a cut-out of a man to show he's not around. The lyrics are from a Helen Reddy song called You and Me Against the World.

Hopefully you can see the little reindeer cut out of the script brush which contains calling out the reindeer names!

I would never have come up with this idea myself, so thank you so much for this challenge and great inspiration!
I used a star shape (like the stamped stars on this layout) to cut out a bit of the journaling.

I cut out the shape of a plumbob in the handwritten WA in the background.
Hope it's fine like this.

I really didn't like this challenge. I scrap because I want to preserve my memories, journaling is a part of that. Therefor I don't want to cut up my journaling. Now I used a WA but having a large portion of useless writing on my page is not my style. And then having to cut a large enough shape so that it's recognizable means the WA needs to be big too. It's just not my type of scrapping and I'm gonna get rid of this page after this month. I understand that everyone is different and this is a month of challenges so a challenge this was for me. It's just annoying since I usually really like MOC.
Anyway, ignore me.
