Here's mine. The pic was blurry because of movement (and a really slow camera), so I shrunk it a little smaller on the page. I also cropped out a distracting background and lightened it up a bit.
This is an imperfect photo because it is a contender for the worst school photo ever. My son just cannot smile on cue! It also looks like he has leftover food around his mouth. I dealt with it by just scrapping it as-is and celebrating the imperfection.
Imperfect Photo: I took the photo with my cellphone and result is not that good (even after cropping). My aim was have nice picture on men working at roof, the photo ended up to me mainly everything else. It is good to remember that cellphone is having a camera but it doesn't suite for every situation!
I even included my explanation right on the layout: I love this photo of me giving Cheryl a kiss on the cheek, even though I whipped my head over as the camera was snapping, so it's blurry as all get out. Doesn't matter, I love her wonderful smile, and had to have it front and center.
I chose this photo because not all pictures I take are of the perfect, happy, and pleasant. This one was an accident, I was trying to capture his Sunday routine of homework, headphones and taking up the entire couch. He caught me snapping the picture and gave me this annoyed teenager look instead of a silly smile or pose.
I love this picture of my grandson, Chase, playing in our driveway in his wading pool. The problem with playing in the driveway - grampy's car. Here is the photo with a very distracting car in the background:
Here is my layout using a mask to block out the car, but keep that sweet devilish grin on Chases' face:
For the Embracing Imperfection challenge I used a selfie I took with my phone when we were in the plane flying to Orlando. The picture was little blurry with off colors so I staurate it a little and also use a little sharpening filter. Is not perfect technique, but sure are 3 perfectly happy faces on it.
This picture of my Dad and siblings/in-laws was taken at dusk and was dark and a little blurry. I made various adjustments in Paint Shop Pro to brighten and sharpen it up some.
My photo is out of the focus. The wind blew as I snapped this shot. My journaling is a reminder that when the wind blows, and I get out of focus. . .pause. . .the wind will eventually stop. . .and then I can refocus.
Working with professional photos I wasn't sure what to do except I remembered a couple photos where the necklace was quite askew and it bothered me. So I used depth of focus and cropped the picture.

The family photo in the right hand corner was the 6th attempt. It is hard to get a dozen people all smiling, looking at the camera, and with eyes open. This is actually the best of the 6! So half of us cracking up at Grandpa throwing his arm up, Eric's head hidden, closed eyes and all.
The original photo was a very poorly taken iphone shot and the lighting was not very good, so the coloring was off. It was dark and very yellow, so I tried my best to fix the color and lighten it up a bit.
Here is mine. I have been having trouble getting my camera to focus right lately. So it seems like I have a lot of blurry pictures. I just loved their faces in this picture even though it was out of focus.
Here is the original. I used Radlab to sharpen and change the colors of it.
