MOC_04 supplies: Just Jaimee; Daughter kit; Son kit. Style used on title from my PS-CS2 software (don't know the name but it looks like a rainbow).
I applied a bevel to the word sunset and applied a bevel and photographic style to the word beautiful.
Even though I design alphas, when scrapping I always reach for existing alphas or just use fonts, so this was a fun change of pace for me. For my title effect I played with the native styles in Photoshop, adding a drop shadow, bevel, and satin to get a plastic look. Thanks, Leah!
I went easy on myself with the layout finally - took me long enough. And as I used PSPX3 I had to go my own way, so on the title I used two filters, Eye Candy 4000 "Glass" and a weave texture effect in my program to create the polka dots to match the ribbons in the framing.
I just discovered something terrible. I've done seven layouts with a kit that I thought was in the shop, but when I went to link it on my layout, discovered that it's not actually in the shop. Well, a few pieces are, but not many. It's Life is an Adventure, but it's Part One, which was a blog hop collab just before iNSD at the end of April. Part Two is in the shop, and a few of the designers used parts that they created in additional kits, but not the whole thing. So, my question, do I need to remake all of those pages, since the majority of the things I used aren't in the shop? At least that I can find?
I scrap in the app Over, it does not support styles. I clipped each of my letters and then used paper and then layered them three deep and then added a shadow. Hope that qualifies for this.
This was fun! I love styles but don't use them enough. I clipped a paper to my title and then used an epoxy style from Mommyish's Essential Styles.
