I chose this meal shared with friends that I wish that I had taken more pictures of the fun that we had that night. I only have this one blurry picture of the dessert!
Thanks so much for this precious challenge! When I read the challenge this photo came to mind almost immediately. This photo is especially very near and dear to my mother's heart, since it shows one of the last times that she was able to hold her father's hand before his passing.
When I read the quote, I knew exactly what picture I wanted to scrap. This photo is of my grandma, fastening her strand of pearls around my neck on my wedding day. I definitely cried through this layout.
There were a couple of ways that popped into my head to go with this but I chose the happier one. My boys. Thanks for the last challenge! I chose to leave the attribution of the quote off.
Ah yeah this one was hard to scrap. I cried. I kept the page simple and light because I dont want it to show sadness. Although there is sadness there, theres also peace and happiness which is what I meant to capture. I hope my journalling is readable We didnt know it in this moment, but thanks to covid this was the last time we saw my Nana.
