Title- Strength of a Woman
Together Land, Where my boys will always let me hold their hands! My boys are getting so big that there's not as much hand holding and affection for Mom/Gigi. Top that off with a teenager who isn't sure if he wants to be here, and I am just longing for a happy place where my boys are happy to be with me. I love this kit by Forever Joy! Green is my favorite color and it is featured so beautifully in this kit!
Thanks for this challenge! It's nice to imagine a happy and sweet place!
This was fun! Thank you! (name of my world is "sound city")
This was so much fun - loved everything about this challenge which seemed super easy at first - I had figured out how to use inner shadows to acheive a cut out effect a while ago - but had to come up with a different way of producing the same look because I needed to sandwich a few elements in between the layers... Ended up tracing the shape and using the divide/intersect/subtract buttons - I'm not sure which one now...it was all about trial and error step-by-step discovery process. Who knew outer shadows can do THIS too??? I definitely know more about my Affinity Designer now than I did yesterday. THANK YOU so much for this challenge @AnneofAlamo. I wish there had been more technique-based challenges.
I had a heck of a time coming up with this and I hope it's okay, Anne. This is the fourth page I've created and I'm still not sure if I did what you wanted.
@AnneofAlamo you kill me woman!
I still use scrapbook max lol. Yeah, I know, but we have a long running relationship lol.
Anyways, I hope this works.
@crlin @RJMJ , sorry I confused more than I helped. My apologies. I think I did not make it clear what layer you should be on, but so glad you figured it out.
Here is mine
This was the best challenge, so awesome! I will certainly be trying this again. Loved it! Here's what I made:

This was a great challenge. I want to try some other ideas when I am not so pressed for time.
Man...I really struggled with this one. I can't tell you how many I started and trashed.
I had so much fun making this page Anna, than you for challenging me!
