January 3: Grid Page

Is it ok to have elements stretching across the lines within the grid?
Yes, as long as I can still see the visible grid. Like my title "Cambridge" and state outline goes over the grid in one place, but you can still see where it is above and below. Does that help?

Insteed of a 3x3, can we use a 4x2 for exemple?
I see someone answered, but just in case, minimum 3, so 3x5 or 3x4 would work.

Just wanted to get it right before I post did I read that anything can overlap the grid, but only as long as it stayed inside the grid
Yes, as long as I can still see the grid. Like how Cambridge overlaps, but you can see the grid above and below it.

Would a calendar page work for this challenge?
Yes, if the grid is visible, and I can still see it. Does that help? Or do I need to explain better?

Here's mine. I messed with the stitches longer than the whole rest of the page, lol.

p.s. I used Lynn Grieveson's wonderful Messy Pockets Gridded Template - so quick...

I meant to put some journaling above all the photos but I'm running out of time.

@bestcee - I'm confused about the difference between overlap and contained in the grid. Most of what I'm seeing is within the grid, but has lots of overlapping inside the grid - that's ok? Just checking as your instructions said "with very little overlap". Thanks for clarifying. Fun challenge - but I always overthink on the rules and it delays my start - :think!
