January 29: Black Background

An elephant that has been with me since childhood, my father and his friends, and a book made by a friend.
I took the photo inside a black lacquer cabinet. This was another fun challenge

You can also use the portrait mode on your iPhone with stage light mono. It is easy and dramatic.
WOW...thanks for the tip.... actually the mono mode is B & W but the one before is color... Totally amazing images!!! I could sit here all day mugging for the camera... and not a lick of make up on , and hair not even combed yet!!! What fun.... Thank you so much!!!!!

I'm actually glad you mentioned that. I want to check that out. However, please don't use it for this challenge as it is basically a black & white photo. I am looking for a color photo against a black background for this challenge.
The setting before mono is in color.. works perfectly!!!!!

NB Photo is not blended in, just partially erased, and has a dark background :-)

I used "One Day at a Time" and "Fresh Start"

This was not easy to do on a rare, bright day in Seattle. The only dark place in my house at 11:00 am was the closet in my back bedroom. It is stuffed with overflow and clothing from my rest of the 800 foot apartment. Plus my flashlight was dead so I had to use the crack of the door for the light source. Hopefully, it is dark enough.
