January 26 - Duotone Technique

The hardest part was finding a photo that would work!

 

This was a blast!! I loved this challenge, thank you!

 

Wow! this was a super fun one...never done that before. Will have to keep that in my bag of tricks.

 

I don't feel like I did a very good job with this, but it was cool to mess with it! Thank you!

 

I hope mine is acceptable. I do not have photoshop or PSE etc. I use scrapbook max.

 

@ashleywb that was fun and not something I would ever do on my own.
With a chocolate dog I went with a creamy peach colour and a silvery brown.

 

Such a cool challenge loved playing with the sliders hehe

 

Well anyone reading this thread knows my PS program was being ornery in the beginning... Would not do what it was supposed to do... so thinking I must be missing something I wrote here, and while waiting for a reply went and played with the on line link... It was fun, but once I got back into PS and it was now doing what it was supposed to do, there was NO comparison in the quality of the photo... I knew it was supposed to be bright contrasty and sharp... I have played and played... in a good way with this challenge.... Fun! Oh...the colors I ended up choosing for this page, were navy and yellow.

I used a stock photo, I hope it's ok. I had a similar photo but the contrast was all wrong to change it to duotone.
