January 26 - Duotone Technique

Wow! this was a super fun one...never done that before. Will have to keep that in my bag of tricks.

Thank you so much for the easy to follow tutorial, I changed from CS3 to PSE 9 and now to PSE 15 every time the interface changed slightly, and I have had problems, getting to the sliders because I tried from the tools on the left, and single clicked, so if you were here I would kiss you ( or maybe not since I have a cold :giggle) Have just spent a few fun hours doing non MOC related things with gradients .

Aww, you made my day! So glad I could contribute in a small way to you enjoying your software a bit more! I'll take that kiss from afar. :)

Well anyone reading this thread knows my PS program was being ornery in the beginning... Would not do what it was supposed to do... so thinking I must be missing something I wrote here, and while waiting for a reply went and played with the on line link... It was fun, but once I got back into PS and it was now doing what it was supposed to do, there was NO comparison in the quality of the photo... I knew it was supposed to be bright contrasty and sharp... I have played and played... in a good way with this challenge.... Fun! Oh...the colors I ended up choosing for this page, were navy and yellow.

I used a stock photo, I hope it's ok. I had a similar photo but the contrast was all wrong to change it to duotone.
