January 24th - Pieces of Us. (Photography Challenge)

No iPhone, so tried to take selfies with my little point & shoot...

 

Luckily, my son didn't mind me taking a few pics after school!

 

Here's mine - photos taken of my 9-year-old this morning....

This was probably by the far the hardest challenge for me to do with a very unwilling participant. I seriously spent all day photographing this kid, several meltdown and tears. If it weren't for the unwilling participant, I think I would have really enjoyed using an older photo(s) and doing this challenge. I think my struggle was just my kid.

Anyways, so glad this is over and I don't have to worry about photographing this kid until his 5th birthday next month!!

This was such a cool challenge Abish! I never would have captured these details of my son like this without it, so thank you!

 

Hoping these pictures count - I was trying to get her ear in the first pic but it was covered by her headphones!

 

I was inspired by the baby photos in the original post, so I made a layout of my "baby".... <3

I am so proud of you for persevering!!! I came here specifically to see if you were able to photograph him! I gave up and did myself as no one was around!!

 

Why don't you let him take pictures of you, and use those? You can crop out your face, or whatever... =)

 

Me too!!! It also challenged me because in my head I knew I needed to go clean and graphic and let the photos talk, but I kept wanting to put more on it!!!

I’m so glad I listened and went more graphic. I love the result. Thank you for the challenge!!!!!!
