I used Snapseed to simulate my shallow depth of field. I didn't have that app before now and it was really fun to play with, so thanks for that suggestion!
In case your interested, here is the journaling:
"That one time when I thought it would be a good idea to
see what the small motor would do when I touched it
to the control box coming into the house. The plastic
exploded off the motor and only created a “small” spark. Luckily, I was fine and it didn't cause damage to electrical."
I LoVE shallow depth of focus. Even bought a macro lens for my iPhone. The photo in this was not taken with that lens. My challenge today was getting a new photo and not using one of the thousands I already have...lol!
Hi @FarrahJobling i was at work for the quick scrap this morning and missed the deadline, but i loved my LO and wanted to thank you for the challenge, i know it wont count towards my MOC7 as its not a new photo, but thank you for the challenge
I love that this challenge got me using my camera in manual mode again. It also got one of my daughter's involved as she wanted to help and try taking a few pictures herself. Thanks for the challenge!
All the work went into the photo and I'm not sure whether it ended up being a macro or a zoom shot that did the trick. All the flowers this year are quite high up the tree. The layout itself was so quick and simple it felt like cheating. ;-)
