I had a little bit of fun trying to get an instagram shot the other day, focusing on the candle with the books in the background.

My nice camera is in the shop, so I was putting this one off thinking I'd do it later, but I don't know if that's going to happen in time! Today I decided to bite the bullet and try out the digital manipulated blur version, and I think it turned out pretty cute. Thanks for the challenge! Shallow depth of field is one of my favorite things about photography. I have thousands of qualifying photos, but none were new LOL! This photo of my kitty is new, just from my cell phone with the digital iris blur applied.
