Wahoo! I'm finally caught up to here on leaving love for all the AMAZING pages in this challenge. Thanks for being patient with me on getting to the comments. I've been fighting carpal tunnel in both hands for the last two weeks. All y'all have blown me away with all the gorgeous layouts you've cooked up. If I've commented on your layout, then I've passed you off for this challenge. Extra thanks to everyone who linked up their layouts and pointed out their components. You've make checking my challenge so much easier and I really appreciate every one of you! TLP has the best scrappers in all of Digi land!
This is a hybrid page, so I printed the scatter on my background paper. If that doesn't work, just let me know and I will remove it from my layout list! (I am not finishing anyway!!! LOL)
MOC 1*18 Recipe Challenge
Solid Background that must be seen
Big Photo 6.5 inches by 8.5 inches
1 or more shapes-Circles (8)
1 or more word art-Happy Birthday
1 Scatter (Scatter was used from kit and printed on background paper)
3 or more elements-Cupcake, Balloons, Word Strips, Washi tape, Flair x2, Doily, Arrow, Twine, Bow
Yes I would definitely count those paper strips as shapes. Just remember that you can only have 1 large photo, so don’t put photos in those smaller photo spots. They can be removed or used as shapes or replaced with journal cards, word art or elements. You got this! keepscrappin

I added stitching, stars, journal card, movie reel stamp, washi tape and vellum tag.
I had heard lots of good things about the movie Wonder, and was very interested in attending the movie since like Auggie, I was born with a facial disfigurement. I was expecting to be able to relate to the story and boy did I ever. The main areas that I truly related to was the image of seeing all his hospital wrist bands all on display and when his classmate said ‘why don’t you get plastic surgery?’ and Auggie replied ‘I already have’ as both those scenes have occured during my childhood as a person with a facial disfigurement
Thanks for the challenge!
I used hexagons as my shape
I used a snowflake scatter.
I used the poinsettia, greenery and big snowflake as my 3 elements.
I used shadow, date, journal and title.
