January 18: Recipe (Random Challenge)

I made the complete layout only to find that the Dawn Inskip kit I used was not in the shop UGH!!! So I substituted all the pieces from other kits that are.

I love big photos! This was an easy challenge for me--crossing my fingers that isn't because I did something wrong, LOL. Lots of the entries seem to be using only 3 elements, but the way I read the directions it's at least 3.



1. Solid background - must still be able to see some of it when your layout is complete.-Yes
2. 1 Big Photo - NO OTHER PHOTOS ALLOWED-Yes
3. 1 or more shapes of your choice-Rectangular paper strips
4. 1 or more word arts-"It's not what we have..."
5. 1 scatter ONLY-Sequins
6. 3 or more elements of your choice - The shapes, word art and scatter do NOT count as one of your 3 elements.-Paint, banner, flowers and foliage, stars, word strip, ribbon, stitching, hearts, and stamped border.
7. Shadow, journal, date or title if you want - NOTHING ELSE PLEASE!-Shadows and date

Scatter: lower left...shells etc
Additional elements:
2 seaweeds and 1 crab (Can't get updated version with crab to show but if you click on the photo, it will take you to the gallery and you'll see it there. Sorry...)

1 scatter ONLY (near the bottom on the right)
3 or more elements of your choice (Journal card, flower, stitching, #7 wooden chip, heart paperclip, date tab, newspaper brush under photo at bottom and 2 flairs)
7. Shadow, journal, date or title if you want (shadowing, always; date on tab and stamped title)
