@JillW This is what I thought, but I didn't want to scrap a layout and be completely wrong because I misunderstood the directions. I thought it was like that one inspiration challenge, but I wasn't 100% completely sure especially with no specifics. I understand why you didn't do that, but I also wanted to confirm before I screwed up! Thank you for answering so quickly!

MOC5 JAN 17 2017 - INSPIRATION CHALLENGE (PHOTO) USE THE PROVIDED IMAGE AS INSPIRATION. I really liked the wood, and the vintage sepia and the 'white space'... I turned a photo sepia of my daughter and her boyfriend on their cruise last week - then I used 'vintage looking elements plus the wood background from JustJaimee - June 2016 storyteller.
I was inspired by the items arranged around the page, the open book, and the color of the typewriter.

I also loved the vintage look, the color and the wood. Oh, and the typewritter keys I used the Grace collab by Lynne-Marie and Sara Gleason and New Leaf from Forever Joy's Jan BYOC, fonts were Type Keys Filled, and destain, and I used Mommyish's free styles that were posted in an earlier challenge underneath the Type Keys font.
For me the vintage angle translated into nostalgia which got me thinking about the various plans we had over the last 48 years to buy a travel trailer.
I was inspired by the word vintage...I only have a few photos of people I know, and this one is one of my fav...its my parents pre-wedding...could even be the engagement photo but I don't think so. I hope this qualifies...as I didn't use the typewriter, the colors, the wood bg, or the writing utensils...but it is vintage
