YAY - favorite challenge so far. I love to use lots of pictures (as you can tell - hee hee) 1. One title - Frozen card 2. Two or more sentences of journaling - many more 3. Three or more photos from the same event - 15! 4. Four or more different paper patterns. (3 different background papers, one behind Frozen card, arrow tag behind snowman) 5. Five or more different elements - (flowers, flair, leaves, snowflakes, crown, tape)
1- title (B-Ball game) 2- (well lots more) journaling 3- (well 9) photos of game 4 (maybe more) pattern papers and 5 (more actually) elements: flowers, banner, tape, string, buttons, etc
Great pages everyone! Question @jk703 Would you prefer the double page to appear in the gallery & here? What is the max width size for the gallery on these? Thanks. Now I've got to ponder...
1-Title: A Magic Season 2- Journaling: two sentences in my language 3- 5 photos 4- I used 4 patterned papers in left page 5- Five elements I used: flowers, gold star, snowflake, leaves, beads.
Do you consider frames as an element? What about page borders? Word art strips? I'm usually a clean and simple kind of gal and use minimum elements on my pages so I really need to know what counts and what doesn't. Thanks.
For those that are challenged -- Several of our designers create double page templates, Lynn Grieveson being one of them. Fiddle-Dee-Dee Designs and Scrapping With Liz sets also look great as double spreads. While they may not create them in mind as double spreads, putting two of their pages from the same set together looks like it was designed that way. I work in double spreads often, even when doing different events on the 2 pages. I print my layouts as books, so I like the pages to look like they go together. So go for it and maybe check out a template set to help you.
Thank you for the challenge. I used a Christmas tree flair, ribbon, flower button/flair, holly, and fir greens for my five elements. Credits: Lynn Grieveson Designs ~ December Nights, font ~ yellow umbrella
Jenn, you about did me in with this one! I was all done, and then realized I only had three patterned papers and needed four!
@jk703 Jenn - I love how your double pager looks like it could just be 2 individual pages almost - each standing on their own. Makes it more approachable for me too. Love your pages and your 1- 5 steps.
