I took a bunch of paper scrapbooking items and placed them on a mirror, I stood up the paper people and had my son hold a photo of George yawning over it so it showed up in the mirror, then I did my best to extract that photo and put it in the scrap page.
I'm not thrilled with this photo. I thought I might get lucky and capture the cat in the bathroom mirror, but she was uncooperative -- every time I try to take her picture when she's not sleeping, she comes toward me to say hi, whatcha got?
Took my sewing room mirror out in the snow. Used brushes and blending modes to texture the snow.
If you dig a deep enough hole you can find the trees on the other side of the world.
I did have fun. I got up early & took some shots in our main floor bathroom. I have a pull-out swivel makeup mirror there. But I had to turn on the lights since that room has no windows. Some interesting shots, I may use them another time. Later this a.m. I went outside with a few hand mirrors. One had a large wooden handle, I stuck it in snow (quite cute result), but for the one I selected, I held the mirror with my left hand and then tried to snap the photo with my right hand. It would have been SO MUCH easier if I had an assistant. Oh well.
I was inspired by the website with the nature/sky reflections, so I took the mirror off our dining room wall and took it out on the deck to get my desired photo. I didn't want to mess up the wall trying to hang it back by myself, so I left it leaning on the buffet. My husband came home and wanted to know what was going on -LOL! Thanks for the challenge!
I was chatting with a friend this morning and she told me about this mirror. There are more around town but this one was in a residential area so I could stop and take a picture.
Thanks for the great challenge!
