January 10: Clean and Simple (Style Challenge)

No paint?! *dying inside*
The minimalist challenges are always a stretch for me but that's what MOC is all about!
Oh we are kindred spirits! Speaking of dread... THIS is my nemesis! UGH.hmph But I love:heartslub this MOC so I will cooperate.:innocent Rant over, LOL.
OH! I just got an idea!:idea2

Oh, so I guess this is MY challenge of the challenges! :) I totally, immensely dislike this kind of scrapping! One photo or plain! (But I love that about scrapping, that one person's love isn't another's and that we are all so individual but every page always looks awesome!) :) So, I'll do it, just for you! At least it shouldn't take long...once I've found that perfect photo! :) :) :)
Yo, I be's Right there witcha!:yup

Thank you for hosting. It was fun to decide exactly what elements helped to balance my picture. I used Raking Leaves by Kristin Aagard.

Neutral background: white
3-5 Elements: leaf branch, rake, bagged leaves, leaf barrel, heart flair
Journaling: You always ask Daddy if you can help. He always declines but on this day you got to help rake the leaves.
Date: 2December2017

Hi @jenevang are you familiar with the papers in October Morning by Allison Pennington? She has some that are named solid, but have some white distressing throughout and on some of the edges; would one of these be okay or is too much like a patterned paper?

Here is mine, I always struggle with these kinds of pages, I just take too many photos! I will pair this with one with all of the food we sampled on a second page (hopefully completed later in MOC) so I'm pretty happy with it :)

Thanks for the challenge and pushing me out of my comfort zone!
