Jan. 18: Art Journal (Style Challenge)

Is not my usual style, but I have to say I love to go artsy with my personal layouts. This particular piece makes me very happy because shows a turning point in my life. As everyone else I´m full of complex, specially because of my weight... Two years ago I start doing zumba and dancing... at the beginning I was very self concious and I little sad because I didn´t loose so much weight... but with time, I saw other important changes... for example I´m very healthy (all exams comes out great), full of stamina and wiggling and shaking around is great for my self steem. So I started to make peace with my own body and today I feel sexy and beautiful in my 190 pounds.
That picture is from a 5 hous dance marathon and my picture was all over internet on sports magazines and blogs because I was front row smiling from true happiness...

This is the one that I have been dreading... but I LOVE how it turned out. It is 3x8 size to go in my One Little Word album. Thanks for a great challenge and all the inspiration :).

Well...this is definitely NOT my cup of tea! But I tried. I hope it qualifies.
Moc4-Day 18- Art Journal
Stitching around the heart and on the top edge of page (hard to see)
Color area below the heart beat is labeled as a stamp. I am not sure I know the difference between a stamp and paint. It is from a kit by Bella Gypsy – “Last Key”
Journaling reads “Can’t wait to meet you…”

The page I was dreading the most actually went together really easily... sat back and tossed things at the page and I rather like the result. Sure hope fish face works... he's blowing you fishie kisses...

Art Journaling is not my thing, but I gave it my best shot and I think I got all the required pieces on it. Just seems like a big mess.
