MOC 18 - Art Journal. I am so proud of this. This was way way out of my comfort zone. I think for a first time it came out pretty good! I hope you can tell all of the things I used. Kit used is Just Breathe by Little Butterfly Wings.
I hope it's ok - I'm worried about "Title or a Quote or actual journaling that will explain the face on your page" -- if it's not clear enough I will try to explain more.
Paint = alpha + across the face
Splatter = blue & white blotches
Gesso = white patches in face
Stitching = check
Doodles = make-up items + text
Elements = check
Face = check
Title/Quote/Journal = check
This is a tough style for me but there is definitely a certain appeal to it - thanks for the challenge.
1. PAINTS, SPLATTERS, GESSO (YOU CAN USE REPLACE IT WITH WHITE PAINTS ), AND STAMPS ( ALL OF THESE ARE REQUIRED)
2. STITCHES
3. DOODLES
4. ELEMENTS
5. A FACE OR FACES from a photo OR IT CAN BE AN ELEMENT (EG : A BRUSH OF A FACE)
I included all of these. Little Red Riding Hood
It was my first time doing art journaling. I ensured it met all the requirements:
1. PAINTS, SPLATTERS, GESSO (YOU CAN USE REPLACE IT WITH WHITE PAINTS ), AND STAMPS ( ALL OF THESE ARE REQUIRED) - check
2. STITCHES - check
3. DOODLES - check
4. ELEMENTS - check
5. A FACE OR FACES from a photo OR IT CAN BE AN ELEMENT (EG : A BRUSH OF A FACE) as you can see from the page below, my main element has a face of a child which I used to blend it on the background - check
6. Title or a Quote or actual journaling that will explain the face on your page. It can be the why you put it there, or how it makes you think/feel when you see it, or can be more of an expression that comes to mind because of the face. Again you can make a face out of elements, use a photo, an element, but the face needs to be the subject of the art journaling page - check
I love to look at Art Journaling and the beautiful art that others create....But I can't say I love doing it myself. I really struggle creating anything that I just LOVE. But it's always good to stretch!
All of my art journal pages seem to turn into layouts! I love layering up the "messy" stuff on my pages. I hope this is okay @misslovescraps - it does have all the require elements.
