How do you like your Christmas?

Great question and I love reading the answers! I gotta say, anything I can do to replicate the messy, mismatched, handmade, kitschy (yet somehow beautiful) style of my parents is alright in my book. Thank goodness my husband has an eye for the traditional and sentimental.
 
We are getting a real tree this year for the first time ever, and I'm so excited!! We threw away our fake tree when we moved, so we're definitely doing it this year. We are also very traditional on the color scheme as all our ornaments are from my hubby's and my childhoods and our daughters'. I'm excited to actually have room for a big tree this year!
