Where do you go? Just you, to hide? lol perhaps, get away quick spot?

Sometimes, I just put on my headphones and pretend I'm invisible, but my boys are catching on to that.
I love to hide/get away with my plants. I will go out back, repot and clean up my house plants, and it is so refreshing.
What about you?
Do you have a spot, you can go?

out to the pool ... my family hardly ever ventures out there anymore. or i can simply turn on the vacuum cleaner for a few minutes and that seems to makes everyone else scatter and hide ... then the main area of the house is mine!

Bubble bath..usually try for at least once a week. Also walking the dog since no one else wants to do that.

LOL... there is no hiding. I have to wait them out (until everyone is in bed). Then I get some "me" time. :) I've tried sneaking upstairs to the bedroom early, but somehow my husband has radar for that, and he'll come up early too, which drives me nuts because he (usually without fail) goes up to bed at 10.

I don't need to hide that often with the kids out on their own, but sometimes the TV or hubby will make me want to hide. Then it's definitely my bedroom.

My usual way to get away from it all, is a power walk on our 7 acres of woods. It's so peaceful and uplifting. :-)

oh yes to a power walk...sometimes there is more power in the first 20 minutes than the last! bhahhaha

Believe it or not, it's sitting on the couch, which is in the middle of my living room. I seem to be invisible there. My family will look everywhere around the house, but never in the living room. I kinda like it!

I hide out in my flower beds or start mowing the lawn with my headphones! Getting up earlier than everyone else is my quiet time as well. I love the early morning with my lover, Mr. Keurig :)

If I try to escape for some me time, it's usually to my bedroom. It doesn't usually last very long though before the boys or hubby are looking for me and encroaching on my space lol Argh!!

This is so funny! Over the years I have been desperately trying to find my own space and I figured once my kids have grown up, that would be easier. Now they just bring their friends home so the house seems more crowded than ever...

I have finally managed to get a low chair in our bedroom, it is now surrounded by wool, and threads and books - my little messy place. It is now referred to as my Nest - I feel like the queen receiving visitors whenever the kids come for a chat...

There usually isn't much hiding for me, but sometimes I'll try to sneak off to my bedroom for a quick nap or a little quiet reading. My boys and hubby all seem to have a radar for that though... one of them always finds me. My boys sometimes will grab a book and join me, which is so sweet and totally okay, but my hubby has a knack for coming in and either turning the TV on loud or he will want to... {gasp} talk to me! :giggle

for me it has change depending on what stage in life I've been....
when the children were little I would go into my bedroom lock the door and then into my bathroom and lock that door too.

when my oldest son was old enough to watch the younger ones. I would take my book drive up to McDonald's and order a drink and sit in the parking lot and read for half an hour, then head back home.

now with both my daughters not living at home I have changed their room into my craft room. I love to come in here and just do what I want. Lately I've been making a lot of cards to send out.

I usually hide at the gym or go for a run. If I'm heading to the gym I'll take my iPad and catch up on an episode of something or other while I'm working out. Running is a great time to listen to audio books or podcasts. (Can you tell I'm a serial multitasker?)

Well, I live alone, so I just go home. Friends and family know that coming by unannounced isn't something I enjoy (I'm such an introvert) so they usually always call ahead. Which is cool. My home is my little place.

Sometimes home gets too much, so I go out for a walk and take my camera and start snapping pictures. I especially love it when it is snowing or freezing, when nobody goes out for fun so it is usually really quiet and peaceful. Oh I love winter.

I remember when I lived in Whistler in a house with ±16 20-somethings and stuff got overwhelming easily because they were all party people and I am not, my alone time was taking the long way to the bus stop or mail box, just walking, with my jojo (the jojo sounds so stupid but it was something that really helped me relax back then).

Well, with both kids back in school, I have a lot of quiet time during the day. There's not really any place to escape to unless I go to my bedroom. Honestly, though, it's pretty quiet here.
