I found a great recipe for homemade granola, sometimes I use dried cranberries, and sometimes raisins. Basically the base recipe includes oats, sliced almonds, honey, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, vanilla extract, little bit water, little bit vegetable oil - I use canola so the tastes are not altered-, raisins or any dried fruit, all mixed well in a large bowl, then spread onto a baking sheet, baking n the preheated oven ( 325 F or 165 C), stirring every 15 mins. until golden brown and crunchy. I've read some people use brown sugar instead of honey and adds flaked coconut, but I suffer allergy to coconut, so I'm using almonds. I really love this recipe, it's easy and cheap.
1. Do you like granola or cereal?
2. Do you like cereal, what is your favorite?
3. Muesli, granola or cereal, which breakfast option do you like the most?

This recipe sounds delicious Grace! Thanks for sharing!

1. Do you like granola or cereal? I like both. Granola can be too crunch for my jaw sometimes though.
2. Do you like cereal, what is your favorite? A few of my favorite boxed cereals are Reese’s Puffs, Cinnamon Life and Basic 4.
3. Muesli, granola or cereal, which breakfast optiondo you like the most? Cereal

I have a 5 Grains & Berries Gluten Free Muesli that I’ve been buying for nearly a year after some trial and error (mostly error quite honestly as some gluten free cereal options here weren’t that great or way too expensive). To stretch it a bit more I do a blend of half GF muesli and half GF Special K. Only problem is now, it’s become very hard to find the muesli so I will probably end up making one from a Low FODMAP/Gluten Free recipe club membership I’m part of.

In the morning I’m a granola type of girl, usually from MyMuesli. Yoghurt with a tangerine and granola.
If it’s a busy day, and I need a filling but light on calories breakfast, I might substitute the granola for Weetabix.

In the afternoon I have “kwark” (I don’t know how to properly translate but it’s similar to yoghurt) with an apple, muesli and cinnamon.

Around Christmas time I always make cereal peppermint chocolate bark.

So yea, I eat it all. ☺️

I prefer cereal over granola. And I prove that I do not make good choices by preferring Cap n Crunch Crunch Berries cereal. lol

I love cereal but rarely eat it anymore due to the carbyness of it -- I'd rather indulge in carbs elsewhere. :D There is a local woman here in the Phoenix area that makes the most amazing grain-free granola (e.g., pecan pie flavored) and I really like to have that with some fruit and yogurt. Now I'm getting hungry.

Like Cindy, my all-time favorite cereal is my childhood favorite, Cap'n Crunch. :lol These days, I'm more likely to order it at our local nitro-frozen ice cream place that has cereals as topping options. Yum.

1. Do you like granola or cereal? I like granola on my yogurt. I'll put yogurt, fruit and granola in a bowl for breakfast. I don't know the last time I ate cereal.
2. Do you like cereal, what is your favorite? When I was pregnant with my son I ate so much Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I don't really eat cereal much these days. And if I do, it's dry. I'm not much of a milk drinker.
3. Muesli, granola or cereal, which breakfast option do you like the most? Oatmeal or cream of wheat :)

Jennifer dear, I suffer food allergies, and I know isn't fun. I've made my own granola for the same reason, I use gluten free oats, almonds, dried fruits, honey, a little bit water and a little bit oil, ground nutmeg and cinnamon, and to the oven, the recipe it's at the beginning of this post, I found this recipe really good and cheap.

That sounds really delicious, I don't know what it's kwark, but I use granola with kefir, so I can imagine that the taste is almost the same.

Homemade granola with fresh fruit and yogurt

Homemade granola with fresh fruit and yogurt is the best, usually I add some extra honey. Also no cereals for me, I love granola.

:)

I have the same kind of breakfast, and same here, I think last time that I ate cereal was when I was teen, lol., at that time I loved special K, till I discovered Quaker oats with dried fruits. I love oats too.

Kefir is similar to milk, as in how liquid it is. Kwark is the opposite. Online translate want me to use the word cottage cheese but I don’t agree because I also eat cottage cheese and that has a very different texture and tastes very different.
I’ve never had kefir though. I’m going to give it a try! It sounds interesting.

Now I'm intrigued, I'll try to search in a local market some kwark. I love cottage cheese, buttermilk, kefir and yogurt, so for sure, I'm gonna love kwark as well.
Kefir is one of the best products for the stomach, I used to have troubles, and kefir really helped me so well. Try the natural, with no sugars or fruit added, and in case that you'd need, put a little stevia, I think you're gonna love it.

I think kwark (kvarg in Swedish) is called rahka in Finland. It's similar to greek yoghurt when it comes to thickness, but it's cheese. I'm not that fond of it. Prefer yoghurt.

Dear Eva @tanteva thank YOU so much!!! I love rahka, and it's true, isn't cottage cheese. We use every summer with blueberries, cream and stevia, but as well with granola and honey, and I use for some kind of blueberries cake, like this.

Yes it is!
Being Dutch, I have issues with calling it cheese but ok. Lol. :gigglep

I have Fiber One Honey Clusters cereal for breakfast almost every day.
I will have a big bowl of berries, Greek yogurt, and granola as a light lunch during warmer months; I've never done it for breakfast.
I don't think I've ever had muesli, and even after googling, I'm not sure I quite understand what it is. LOL I don't like oatmeal (it's a texture thing), so if it's similar, then I'm thinking it's a no for me. :)

Greek yogurt and granola are one of the best combinations dear @KimJ . Muesli is basically a mix of cereals, including oats, rice, corn, etc, dried fruits, coco flakes, seeds, and nuts (almonds, peanuts, cashew nuts, etc.), I have tried twice, but since I discover that I'm allergic to some of the ingredients, it's now out of my list. With yogurt ice cream is simply delicious.

1. Do you like granola or cereal? I like them both, with maybe a slight preference for granola.

2. Do you like cereal, what is your favorite? At the risk of sounding like my grandmother, my favourite cereal is Bran flakes (oh, and I also like toast with marmalade LOL, though I draw the line at a dish of stewed prunes!).

3. Muesli, granola or cereal, which breakfast option do you like the most? Again, a slight preference for granola, but I like all three.

I really should start making my own granola. Thanks, @G.J., for the recipe!
