Please pray for those affected by the flooding.
The rain is still coming down.
Here is my sweet husband trying to rescue electrical items from the shed to bring up to the house:

Here is the neighbours about an hour ago. The water is now covering the first step to our home.

Oh no! I’m praying for you all. Stay safe!

Oh, no! I hope the rain stops and the waters subside soon! (((hugs)))

Oh @A-M ! Anne-Marie, I am praying already. One of my paper scrapping friends posted on FB saying their downstairs was flooded and the carpet was stinking so badly but they can't remove until insurance has evaluated. So I've been praying specifically for her, and generally for the entire area. I'll be saying specific prayers for you and your husband and your property.

I am so sorry, Anne-Marie. Prayers for you and all those impacted by the flooding. :beat

Ohhhh Anne-Marie!!!!! Yes, prayers that the rain ceases and waters subside. Please keep us updated!

How dreadful, Mother Nature is really creating havoc this year. Stay safe.

Oh no! I'm so sorry about the flooding Anne-Marie. Stay safe!!

Yeah the news footage doesn't look good, I hope he was able to rescue some stuff - the extremes of fire and flood between summers is crazy now - hope you & your daughter's areas aren't among the worst hit & that the other Aussie Pad peeps check in as well

Stay safe. We saw it here on the news re Brisbane. Hugs to all.

My eldest son lives in Grafton NSW and they woke this morning to their entire yard under water! Luckily they are in a two storey house and while the bottom part has been inundated with water and they lost a few things, at least they are safe. Unfortunately no one was advised that they would get THAT much rain overnight. This is her car in the carport and the side of their place and backyard:

BUT they are safe and dry and have a roof over their heads which can't be said for a lot of people in the rest of the neighbourhood or for those further north in a place called Lismore which was totally evacuated, apparently the Wilson River peaked at 14.8metres which is an all time record. People were sitting on their rooves waiting to be rescued, in double storey homes!! And of course, further north there have been so many people left without homes etc. Such a terrible situation.

@A-M Hope you are okay Anne-Marie and that your house is okay as well. Sending big hugs! xx

Oh water is so scary, and can go anywhere! Be safe and I hope to hear an update soon!

OH my gosh! That is so much water! I'm so sorry to see these pictures and I pray you all stay safe and that the water receded quickly with as little damage as possible!

Thoughts and prayers to you guys! I hope the water has stopped and there wasn't much damage ((((HUGS))))
