Feeling, by image |Pad Patter 8.18

Right now I can't really do anything (work, volunteer, get a haircut) cuz I don't have family nearby to watch the kids for me.
{soapbox} Raising tolerate children is doing something. Even if you can't volunteer or be in public. Eventually you will, but more importantly, so will your little people who will grow up and run this world. {end soapbox}

While I know this is true, I also feel like *I* need something for me. Being a SAHM is for my kids. And I guess, like you mention, also for the rest of society cuz I do believe my DD will run this world, or at least this country. DS will probably run some type of extreme outdoor adventure company.

@bbymks5 At the site that has the gif (I used giphy) there are various codes how to share. At giphy you just copy the link and add it to your post like any other image with the little image button .

They are!! I send them on FB messenger all the time, but that's b/c they're all pre-loaded LOL

@BevG I'm crossing my fingers traffic isn't too bad! And I wish I could use the transporter every. single. day. Even if I just want to get from my couch to my kitchen!

We picked Ruth (age 9) up from Girl Guide camp this AM. So I kinda have all 4 of us back in the house for the first time since June... But... she's at her BFFFFFF (plus, the BFFFFF's twin, who is Ruth's future business partner. They are going to run a no-kill animal farm together) birthday sleepover tonight. So, I get her back tomorrow. For her first dinner at home, she has requested, "lasagne soup"??? Is that even a thing?
But the best (and weirdest) part... is that Naomi (12) and Ruth have both decided, without any intervention from me at all, that they are really into Star Trek: TNG. I am so glad we are done with the Full House reruns! All I have to say is...
