Welcome to February!!! Wow, what a fabulous month of challenges we just had for January!!! And just like that, it is February already. I know some of us are so used to getting up and checking out the daily challenges for the last 31 days. Now that January's MOC is over, that doesn't mean challenges are done! With a new month beginning, it also welcomes a new month of challenges here at the Lilypad!!! I am so excited to be hosting the February Template Challenge! This month, we have an amazing template from our very own and very talented Irma of Designed by Irma ! You can download the template HERE. Then using the free template, create your own layout. You can scrap it exactly as it is, or you can flip it, rotate it, add or replace, as long as we can tell you used the template as your starting point. Here is the page I made with the February Template by Irma and using Irma's Love January Bundle. As you can see I made the template my own by adding an extra tilted paper and I beveled the heart photo frames. I really enjoyed making this page of my parents!!! And now it is your turn! Remember our monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the February Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I can't wait to see your page with this wonderful and fun template!
I thought Christa's idea of beveling the framed hearts was a great idea, so went with that technique, too.
Christa, thank you for the fun challenge! I loved working with this template! Thank you to Irma for the awesome template.
