Fall Decoration Photo Share!

I don't decorate for Halloween, but I love having a few fall touches. Because I live in Florida, I tend to go for muted greens and browns because that is definitely more in keeping with what we have around here AND it goes well with all my other things. It's amazing how just a few things can change the feel of things.

This took me days to complete (ugh, back pain go away! LOL), but I'm glad it's finally done.

The super simple wreath I made yesterday!
I am very happy with the result. I haven't decorated most of the rest of the house yet.

Foam wreath, wrapped in rope, add a fall ornament-ish thingy, a braided rope bow and voila!

hmm, I have no plans too and now you are all making wish I could or should - I don't have Fall stuff. I barely have Christmas stuff now that kids have moved out and taken it all

We don't do a ton (cough cough, nip zilch nada) of decoration, but I usually end up making home decor projects for design team projects! I made this one for Thermoweb that was on their blog a week or so ago!

Cheryl, you are my idea of Southern holiday decorating! Do not repeat this ...but when visiting my family in NC I almost bought them a fall wreath because they have a forsythia one on their front door! That's spring!! I must have read too many Southern Living magazines over the years...

Right now I just have a wreath and swag in our kitchen/family room and the house wreath goes up tomorrow. I also do three ikea 5x7 frames monthly with seasonal pics + a calendar. It's too dark for photos now...so maybe tomorrow.

OK, not great pics. I hit the dollar tree today & put together a few things. I glued a few craft pumpkins together & stuffed some fake flowers in them. There were these neat scarecrow magnet scenes, I let the kids decorate the fridge. I put 2 door hangings together for one creepy owl with boots. My goofy boys took the leftover sprays & are pretending to be creepy trees in the hallway forest.

Cute ideas. I love the pumpkins. Don't know that I'll do anything. But that gives me a few ideas.

Oh goodness you guys! these are lovely! I am jealous of people who put out decor and transition from season to season. I do nothing..but I have no shelves or anything..which sounds boring but like our book shelves are full of books..no room for decor and I don't have anything on the walls cause I am painting! We will head to the pumpkin patch in a week or two and I'll put some pumpkins on the front steps but that's about it!
