Fall Decoration Photo Share!

I did go over to Michaels and pick up a few things. I got these wall hangings (although the corn was actually supposed to poke into the ground) and I got the pumpkin and crow. And I put in my "fall" print over my kitchen sink.

You guys have me feeling like a total slacker! We're in the middle of a couple purging/organization projects, so I have to finish those before I can think of decorating. But you've got me inspired!

These are pretty basic but I also do have a big wreath outside. We've had rain so I have to wait to photograph it.

Soon this mantle will be filled with pumpkins! Mostly various ones over the years from Dollartree. But with a couple of plastic ones also. Even the Buddha gets to hold a fall decoration!

Our small dining room table will get a crow next month and then faux green and brown hydrangeas in November.

The kitchen spot where monthly prints go except for December when I put up my Italian Advent calendar from Lindt chocolates. Depending on my mood I make new ones in addition to the calendar but mostly I've found images on line I like and they get used year after year.

And the outdoor wreath. It can't go on our front door as I've learned that men seem to always bump, brush, knock off items from a door wreath plus we have a storm door so no chance of it surviving there.

Love your decorations, Cheryl- so many awesome vintage touches. And I am in love with that wood pumpkin in the third photo!!

The wood pumpkin came from Hobby Lobby and was 40% off. It was very affordable!

OK, not great pics. I hit the dollar tree today & put together a few things. I glued a few craft pumpkins together & stuffed some fake flowers in them. There were these neat scarecrow magnet scenes, I let the kids decorate the fridge. I put 2 door hangings together for one creepy owl with boots. My goofy boys took the leftover sprays & are pretending to be creepy trees in the hallway forest.

In love love love with those stacked pumpkins. What a great idea!

Are you serious? Oyster shells on a wreath. I adore that! I need to make one for our front porch!

If anyone is interested in oyster shells on wreaths, there are very fine drill bits (Very Fine) you can use. I've got the bit but not a drill that it will fit so mine are just glue-sticked on but by next year they really should have something stronger. That wreath is about 5 years old.

Oh, I'm totally doing it. It's such a cool look, and for around here, oyster shells are easy to locate!

so amazingly gorgeous all of you!!!!!!!!!

We used to decorate for each season until Sarita was 14, then for Halloween I used to dress up (as Elphaba from Wicked since 2008) and have tons of decorations too..... but since she turned 16 and I started getting worse physically, not so much of anything....
now there is the aggravated problem that we had no carer for almost 2 years.... so I won't even dare show you the pictures of what our place looks like..... I'm hoping to get the carer in two weeks time, si after I clear the hoarding...may go for something :)

We had a nice sunny day so I took a quick snap of my cinderella pumpkins, fall planter and front door swag. I even wore long sleeves today...it's finally feeling like autumn!

Funny thing, I am frustrated now because is so hot still in London.... ad the weather people are telling us it will go on for the next couple of weeks...this would have made me feel great a couple of years ago...but now I am looking forward to getting cooler weather!!!!

I love Autumn and these decorations are super gorgeous! I tend to change stuff around the house when I feel I need something different, not specifically for any season. At Christmas time I decorate a bit, but not as much as when the kids were small.

Kimberlee, I found that print on line and screenshot it otherwise I'd share. Normally no one else sees it but us. I actually do make all the calendars and use bought scrap supplies for them.
