I just went to my eye doctor yesterday!

It was an "annual" checkup. I put that in quotes because I'm new at wearing glasses. I got reading glasses circa 2021 and progressives just a year ago. I was happy to be told my eyes haven't changed enough to require new glasses; these progressives were expensive and I hoped they'd last longer than a year. I just wanted to get a new prescription for reading glasses, to replace the old, scratched and bent ones I've been using for several years. I prefer reading glasses just for reading books and my 27" Mac screen because with the progressives I'd have to tilt my head and move it back and forth constantly.
I plan to take this new prescription to one of the online glasses shops like Zenni Optical. Has anyone used one of those, and how did you like them?
