Concerts? Yay or nay?

The only ones I've seen in recent years are Trans Siberian Orchestra. My daughter wouldn't share my interest in the concerts I would choose, maybe I need a date!

Would love to have seen Ludacris. Did he sing Ludachristmas? I've always wondered if that was a show song for him.

No, he did not. He opened the show with some old songs, did a medley of songs he's rapped on for other people (Glamorous by Fergie, Yeah by Usher, etc.), hit all the big songs that have been on the radio, and closed the show with more older songs.

I love concerts- but the hubby does not. So usually I end up going with friends or my mom/sister. I'm SO jealous of your concert tho! That's going to be so great!

Hmmmmm... The last concert I was at Hootie and the Blowfish were performing, sometime in the 1980s, so I guess that tells you a lot.:happydance:happyclap:happy:party3:tantrum

Up until BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan, a South Korean band) came out, I wasn't a huuuge concert go-er, too expensive and I had kids and not a lot of time. I DID get taken to Jewel for my birthday one year (and she called me Smarty Pants!! She asked for song requests and I shouted one and she was like "Ooooh, I love that song! I just can't remember how it goes.." so I said I could tell her the words and she laughed and said "I know the words, SmartyPants, it's the chords I don't remember!!") and I had plans to go see Lincoln Park but then Chester. :(

I've been to every BTS concert in the US in Chicago and one B.A.P (also a Korean band) concert, but that's about it. I'll be saving money to see BTS again if they come next year as well. ^.^

Have a BLAST at your U2 concert!!! Are there any others you want to see or wish you could go to?

My daughter wanted me to take her to Chicago to see BTS. I had the South Korean flag on her birthday cake last year she is such a huge fan.

Did you guys get to go? It was AWESOME. We had lights and then colored bags and made a rainbow for them AND! In an interview they were asked if anything memorable happened, they mentioned Chicago and the rainbow!!!! I was SO happy and proud in that moment.

I've wanted to be a translator since I was six (wanted to work in the UN, then kids happened, now I want to be a cultural liaison) and so when I was studying the Korean language, I listen to music (it's a way I learn better) and was puttering around in the music scene when BTS debuted (4 years ago!! Wow..) and so I've been with them ever since. They've gotten me through a lot. :) Thanks for supporting your daughter in one of her passions! <3

Ah Nancy, I went to TSO way back in the 80s for a Christmas show. Quite an experience esp as I'd been in the Middle East the prior 3 years. lol If we were closer, I'd go with you!

Oh no, Chicago is around six hours away for us. It would have been quite a haul to get there, so she got some shirts and CDs instead.
