*Closed - Winner Announced* Game: What's Your Target

I am going to dive back into my planner where I set task lists, work on goals, habit trackers, meal planning. When I use it, it works like a dream and I get so much done. I slacked off for the summer and by doing so, I actually did blow off a couple of important appointments. Grrrr. I know better! So with September just around the corner, I am going to finish the final 4 months of 2025 strong. I WILL plan things out and get things done. :)

We left my daughter in Lincoln yesterday and my son is settled in his apartment in Nacogdoches. My current "aim" is to clean out my house. lol. We have been in this house since my son was 18 months. We have gathered and gathered and there are some closets and pantries that really need to have a thorough going through! I've already stepped into my daughter's room to clear out her leftover dirty laundry and start to put her room to rights! Our goal is to have our cupboards in our kitchen, our pantry, and the laundry room done by the time I leave for Disney in September!

Ditto with the walking habit... in the heat I'm not as consistent in doing it.
To lead well with my core group in Community Bible Study this year.
Get my physical photos divided and gift them to each of our children. (it won't happen in 2025, but I'm hopeful for 2026!

My target at the moment is to stay as cool as possible in the air-conditioned house, and to limit my outings because for the past few days the thermometer has been rising at a fantastic speed, 38°C at the moment at 3 p.m.
+ 1 I am with you in spirit and in cooling ;)

I need your commitment... I make lists that don't get checked... :(

I loved watching Marie Kondo Netflix show. One room at a time, everything out first, sorting next, and breathing last ;)
Good luck!

Mmm I need focus and organization. I have more time than most but I don't use it properly... I need to prepare for a guiding training session beginning of October and I we have homework to do... I really need to jungle with a few things and I don't do that well so I need to focus and try to planify better. Crossing fingers.

My current target is to complete Countdown to Christmas 2024, which I didn't think I would do and so have spotty photos, but it's coming along. Then I am also busy with Dublin and York, which should be done by the end of this week.

My target is to start strength training. I do pretty good at walking, now I need to add some weights.

My target is to be on my phone less. It truly is an addiction. I can tell it's affecting my eyes, my wrists, my motivation. So scrapping, making art, playing with the kids, all that is my target.

I am supposed to be embroidering a shirt for my baby whilst we are together in UK, before I go back home in a couple of days, but I am way too distracted, and when we are not doing something fun together (like now) I find excuses (dim light, too tired, can't see properly) and I am worried I might not finish it in two days (1 really: tomorrow) remaining, because we want to go visit a cave and a manor tomorrow, and the last day is really for spending it with each other, rather than parallel playing... what a to-do

My target is to make sure I'm eating enough protein each day. I've been tracking my food and glad I've decided to do this because so far I've noticed I need more carbs too! I didn't realize how lower my carbs are compared to protein!

My aim right now is to finish the three crochet projects that I'm currently working on. There's is a small project that I need to finish for my friend's party tomorrow. Than there is a seashell wreath that goes with my seashell hanging mobile. I'm halfway, but need to finish it this or next week as it is more of a summer project.
The biggest project I 'm working on is a blanket in mosaic technique. It's a pattern with typical Dutch images like tulips, windmills and bicycles and the colours are (of course) delft blue and white. First time working on such a large project, when it's finished it will be 1,65m squared. My goals is to have that finished before winter so it can keep us warm.

Um... my target is getting our house (and everything else) ready for my mom's extended visit later this month. I just realized at lunch that she arrives in like 3 weeks... I need to get new curtains for the guest room, call an electrician to add another overhead light and drop an actual cable instead of the one we have taped to the wall for the past 6 years... um... need a new cabinet for my craft closet so we can move the litter-box out of the guest room... and stuff that I'm sure i'll forget until we're driving to pick her up.

What's your Target?

I want to turn more of the thousands of layouts I’ve created over the past 18 years into printed books. I’m planning to start with one about my husband. PLEASE Wish me luck!

My aim right now is to make time for my creativity and for getting fit! I think there's time wasted - at least for me - with doom scrolling and too much binging tv-shows. I need to get more focused and use my time better. :blush
